AAS: Are you a seasoned amateur astronomer or just getting into the hobby?

RW: Little of both probably. 6 or 7 years but also just getting my feet wet in the hobby -- still got a lot to learn! .

AAS: What was your first experience that attracted you to astronomy?

RW: Seem to have always been interested; got going when I met Scott Thompson and saw Saturn through his Sears telescope. Then I was hooked.

AAS: How about your family members; spouse? kids? significant other?

RW: Wife -Julie; children-Aaron 7 yrs old and Bryan 22 yrs

RW: High School - Benjamin Russell High School

RW: Still waiting on one! Dream - Winter Star Party or some Big Star Party with really dark skies!
